texture Photography

So, I am trying to take my photography seriously again and I have some time to play at work. So I am attempting to update the blog with some photos you may not have seen from me before. I call this collection "texture," and maybe I will figure out this whole "blogging" thing before this is over too. However, I am not optimistic about formatting it so it looks ok.

This one to the right is just my blinds. I believe I took this photo right after I bought my camera, so this is an oldie.

Below is a snap shot of a piece of machinery I saw while I was walking around downtown. I really do enjoy taking photo's of completely random things.

And of course, you can't live in Pittsburgh with out a picture of a bridge!

I will try later today to find a few more old "gems" to upload!

Winter Wonderland

I was so happy that snow came, I had to go out and take pic's.

The snow has finally started to stick around, which makes me happy. Now, I am not someone who does any winter sports, I just have always enjoyed the snow. I keep a camera with me at all times so I took this photo when I was leaving work one night. My car was cover, and the streets were not plowed, but I was happy because pumpkin got me home. Now if I could afford the heat for my apartment, that would be better, but I always have blankets.

Procrastination..

Wow, its the end of the year, and the new year's resolutions I started last year have come and gone, and I am going to have to start them all over again. So I am sitting here trying to get motivated to do my homework for school, but since I have the art of procrastination down to an art form, I decided to add something to this blog. Mainly because I want the family off of my case about not posting anything lately. But to tell you the truth, I haven't been feeling well, and I know better than to blog when you are down in the dumps. So since I am feeling like continuing to procrastinate on my paper, I thought I would post some newer pictures. This is a view from campus, but I don't get over there much since most of my classes are across the street.

Following my life in a new City. Here is Pittsburgh from Mt Washington. What a lovely view

What am I doing

So I thought I would try this blogging thing, mainly so I can show off my pictures, so lets see if this works, though I think I am going to need a lot of help
